This weekend I was transported to heaven, Whistler, BC. The snow was perfect, I enjoyed every minute of it until my poor legs got so tired that we had to stop but not bad for 5 hours of straight snowboarding, especially the first run of the year!
We went back out our hotel, The Pinnacle which was a cozy boutique hotel in the heart of the village. We even had a jacuzzi in our living room where we managed to watch TV from our massive flat screen, what an experience!
Since our bodies was so sore, we hit up the Taman Sari Spa, in the Summit Lodge Hotel. This spa was beautiful, it transported me back to Indonesia where I traveled for a few months. I also requested Javanese music to be played while I had the best 'Javanese Massage' ever! We were treated like royalty and had a fresh fruit salad waiting for us after we finished, a nice touch!
